After High School I attended SFCC and transfered to EWU majoring in Radio/Television news. I worked at KAYU for a while durring its early days. Durring this time I was also working as the Cheif Projectionist at the Imax theater at Riverfront Park (I worked in all areas at Riverfront Park over the 11 years I was there). From there I got a job with Imax Corporation as a Customer Support Representative and relocated to Hermosa Beach, California about 10 minutes from Los Angeles International Airport. My work with Imax involved lots of travel to the following cities, Tijuana, San Diego, Downtown Los Angeles (near USC), Santa Clara, Las Vegas,the north rim of the Grand Canyon and the island of Oahu.
In 1993 I got married and moved to Redondo Beach, just a few miles away. I guess you could say that it is the suburbs of Los Angeles. Redondo Beach is a residential community with a population of about 63,000 in an area of 6 1/2 square miles. There are lots of parks, lots of beach and a pier. The city is very family oriented. It is nice to be within easy access of museums, aquariums and zoos.
I am very busy now being a mom to my two young children, and can't believe how busy two little children can be.
