Hello to all...I am now living in Salt Lake City, Cindy relocated here in 2004, to continue her employment with Qwest Communications and get to her 30 year retirement. It's been an adventure. Spencer, my youngest moved with her and started 7th grade in Salt Lake. He is now a Junior in High School. After lots of flying back and forth, I moved to Salt Lake a couple of years later. I had stayed in Spokane until Derek graduated from NC. Derek tried a year of college football on a scholarship at Eastern, but it wasn't for him. It was a delight to have him move to Salt Lake last April. My oldest, Joseph, continues to live in Spokane, attending Eastern and getting close to his teaching degree. He then wants to teach in a location where it is warm year around.
Cindy and I celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary this year.
We have kept our Spokane home also and at this point the plan is to move back in 2010, but we'll see. We are enjoying Utah and its beauty and trying to make the most of our time here.
I was employed at Kaiser, Mead for 25 years and was lucky to leave with early retirement. In Salt Lake I work for “Metal Line “ and “Custom Stainless Steel”, as a Welder. We just completed an 8 month renovation of the Utah State Capitol Building. An incredible building!
I hope to make it to the reunion and look forward to seeing all of you!
