Today's Featured Biography
Angela Brownell Hodge
Hello fellow classmates! So, what's been happening with me since high school? Well, I met my husband Seth at church camp the winter of my senior year (he was playing electric guitar in the band) but we didn't start dating until August 1996. (Seth says he had to wait until I wasn't a felony.) We were married March 28, 1998 (and some of you were even there!) at the Church of Living Water in Olympia. In 1999 we moved to Puyallup for Seth's job, and we've been in the area ever since. We have a 1-year old daughter, Whitney; and a 4-year old dog, Riley (a siberian husky). Last summer we sold our fixer-upper 1940's home in Puyallup and upgraded to a newer (2001) home in Bonney Lake. (A piece of advice: I don't recommend selling a house, buying a house, moving, changing jobs, starting a business and having a new baby all in the same year, if you can help it.) So, now I am a stay-at-home mom with a home-based bookkeeping business, and it keeps me VERY busy. My best friend since high school (Marykay Skoropinski, now Ballard) lives in Southern California now, (and so does my sister), so traveling is something that I want to do more of now that my daughter is a little older and life is a bit more predictable. In fact, we'll be traveling to Tulsa, OK to visit relatives at the end of July (so we'll see if 6 hours of flying and a 2-hour time zone change makes me rethink my traveling goals). In the meantime, I'm glad to be able to drive only an hour to see everyone in August. Hasta!
