Barbara Kelling
After high school I obtained a license in Cosmetology and then traveled around a bit living in Texas and Florida for short periods. I moved back to Madison in 1979, attended Herzing College and obtained a degree in electronics. I started working at my current employer in 1981 (then Nicolet Instruments), went back to school to obtain a BA in Public Administration and started a Masters in Business. I currently do international support, training, and new product development for Infra-Red Microscopy and Spectroscopy and LOVE IT.
I have been married and divorced, have two children, Jon and Meghan. Jon is a computer programmer currently working for Meriter Hospital, and Meghan is in school pursuing a degree in Environmental Engineering. I have a beautiful grandson Landon who turns 3 this year and is the love of my life!
I have traveled quite extensively both personally and for my job and have been to Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Bahamas, Virgin Islands, France, UK, Italy, Turkey, Germany, Japan, China, Canada, and 95% of the US including the FBI head quarters in Quantico, VA on graduation day (looked like a men in black convention). I love to travel and hope to do more in the future.
