Today's Featured Biography
Steven Kruse
I moved from the Madison area in 2004 to a place about 30 miles NE of Wausau. Near Antigo, WI. Wanted my own house and land. Major culture shock. Taken me most of 8 years, learning mostly the hard way, how to fit in up here, but have had some great times here. I do not miss the crowded everything or the noise of the city. It's so dead quiet here in Winter, the only thing I can hear is the ringing in my ears from living in the city most of my life. For real. I have a dog and 2 cats for my family up here, and a few deer, bear, and turkeys that play outside, or sometimes in my freezer. There are over 30 lakes within 10 miles of my house and I am on the ATV trail, and 50 yds. from the snowmobile trail. And ya, they all lead to the bars.
My hobbies are hunting, fishing, cutting wood, gardening and just hanging out at the local bar or outside anywhere.
