Today's Featured Biography
Deidre Smothers Franklin
After graduation, I went to college in Anderson, Indiana, finishing a degree in elementary education in 1991. I then moved to Kobe, Japan where I taught English and worked with a church. From Kobe, I moved to Budapest, Hungary where I taught English in a public elementary school. After my return to the states, I went to work at a church in Worland, WY for year and a half, then moved to Dallas, TX to become a nanny to my niece. During that time I earned a Master's Degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. For the last 7 years, I have lived in Oklahoma City and worked at Crossings Community Church. I am one of 18 pastors on staff. In June of 2005 I married the the most wonderful guy I know, Paul Franklin. We're a blended family. He has a Brittany named Otis, and I have a Shitsu named Zorro. My entire family still lives in Casper. I sure hope to make it home for the reunion to see everyone.
