Today's Featured Biography
Angelique Shore Nead
My personal biography. I always hated these in school. Apparently, the torture never ends. Oh, well here goes.
After graduating, I became a paralegal in the Army. Being in the Army was incredible. It was empowering and exciting and I sound like a recruiting ad. But it's so true. I'd never felt so confident in my life as when I put on my uniform.
I met my husband, Ed, at my second duty station. We were together eight months before marrying, but I didn't really need the time. I knew from the moment we met. He lit my cigarette, and I was gone.
In September of 2003 we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Blond hair, blue eyes....Yeah, we're in trouble. She is the light of my life. I gave up the military so my husband and I could raise her in a dual parent home. I've spent the last year and a half watching her grow and loving her more each day. Too corny, right?
We'll be moving to Texas in October. Ed was offered a job there with a police department. I'll finish up my Dental Hygiene degree when we get settled. That's everything up until now. Army, marriage, kid. Who knew that so little could mean so much?
