Today's Featured Biography
Elaine Pent Jones
After graduation in 1959 I went to FSU for a year. I came home and went to work and met my husband-to-be. We married in 1963, divorced in 1979, no children. I worked for the JFK Library from 1968-1988 and retired, took six months off and went back to work for Kelly Services as a temp because I was curious about what kinds of jobs were out there. I needn't have bothered! I then went to work for Humana and when laid off I studied medical transcription, which I now do at home - offices are not for me! I love being independent. I now live in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a tortoiseshell Persian cat named "Prissy," which fits her admirably. Most of my relatives are all in North Carolina now, which is nice, and I belong to Newcomers and sing in the church choir. Oh, and I'm still going to college at UNC-Greensboro. I stay busy.
