Today's Featured Biography
Natalie Ferber Merrill
I had quite a roller coaster ride over the last 19 years. It afforded me a variety of experiences, though, and isn't that what life is all about?
I spent a decade as a technical writer in greater Chicago and greater Boston before moving to mid-coastal Maine with my then-fiancee, now-husband Steve. The last five years have been difficult professionally, but that which doesn't kill us...! I've worked as a bank teller, a substitute teacher, and a full-time classroom teacher (6th grade math), and I've spent a sufficient amount of time unemployed, too.
In July 2008, I started working for Unisys (yes, that Unisys) on a project in Augusta, ME. I'm back to technical writing, and I couldn't be happier about that!
Steve and I have been together 10 years and married for four of those. After being in a serious car accident in late August 2008, I find myself simply not wanting to let opportunities pass me by.
We're planning to be back for the reunion, and I hope that I get to see many of you there!
