Today's Featured Biography
Tonya Pyle Waterman
I married the man of my dreams in July 1994, when most were getting ready to start college. I bought my first house in March 1995 and had my first born in March of 98. When he turned 2, we moved to a very small town in Nebraska to try the "good" life. After a year of the "good" life, we moved south to Canyon Lake Texas. Our daughter was born. She was 4 weeks premature and the little booger had to be in the NICU for a week to learn how to breath and "suck" to eat. After she was strong enough, we took her home only to find out the sole provider (My husband) was laid off. After a month searching for a job in San Antonio, we packed up our stuff and headed east to Houston,TX. Things didn't get any better there. As soon as I arrived, I called home to tell Mom we had made it and everything was going to be alright. Only to find out, my mom wasn't going to be alright. She was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and it was unoperatable and more than likely she wouldn't have much time to live. I came back to Omaha with my 2 month old daughter for a week and half. I never got to speak to her again. She was in a morphine induced coma so she wouldn't feel any pain. She had a heart attack while in the hospital in which finished taking her life. Here I was 14 hours away from home, 25 years old, and with 2 beautiful children. I no longer had a mother to ask for advice, hear my complaints, and most of all my kids will be raised without knowing their Grandma. She passed Nov. 28, 2001. Eight months later, we decided that Texas was just too far from family, so once again we packed up and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, at least we would have Scott's Parents around us and our children. Well that was short lived. Mom's job took her back to Omaha, and then back to Oklahoma, and now to Springfield, Missouri. Granted they are only 2.5 hours away, it still would have been nice if they could have stayed here.
Now, my children are 9 and 6 and fun as ever. Wyatt is in football and baseball and my daughter is in gymnastics. There isn't a day that goes by that they don't make me laugh. I am very proud to be there mom and I hope someday when they grow up that they don't leave Tulsa, OK. (Like I did)

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
