DONNA OBERPRILLER STEVENS-" Bill and I are on our "Bucket List" trip to the Amazon River to catch Peacock Bass. A thrilling trip! I caught the biggest Peacock Bass, totaling 22 lbs. Then we went to Rio de Janeiro to see the Christ Statue and to learn the samba. Ha!"

Today's Featured Biography
Kay Lynn Conaway West
Since graduating from Reagan, I have lived in 13 states and moved 29 times. Wes was in the Air Force for 23 years and with Industry for 18 years.
We have 2 children. Perry and Suzanne. Perry has 2 sons, John & Bob, and 3 stepchildren, Chelsea,Ana & Cameron. Suzanne has 3 children, Rebecca, Sean & Patrick. Becky is a Lt in the Air Force.
We are now retired in Colorado, and loving every minute of our life.
We have lived through three long military separations two in Viet Nam,one in Turkey, living in Cape Canerval during the Apollo program. We were there when the three astronauts died in the fire. My grandmother was with us when the Apollo 11 moon launch lifted off. She really did not see the launch as she prayed with her eyes closed while the chiggers consumed her legs.
Our adventures inculuded time in Clear Lake with Wes loaned to NASA working on the Space Shuttle development. I was very involved with the Houston Live Stock Show School Arts program during our three years with NASA.
We have lived in Colorado, Texas, California, Illinois, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Rhode Island, New York, Virginia, Penn, New Hampshire, and Wyoming.
We have traveled all over the world, multiple Europeon areas. both ends of the Med, the Baltic, Egypt, Australia/NZ, Alaska, Carribean, Panama Canal, etc. Lots of history, biblical enlightment walking where Paul, Mary and John walked. Ephephis, Corrinth, Rhodes, Athens and Rome.
I would never have dreamed of where my life adventure would have taken me when I graduated 50 years ago.
