Today's Featured Biography
Eric Harrigan
Here is my update from all the years after 1988.....
After graduating from RHS, a few of us went off to Acadia University down in Wolfville. Earle Lowe and I were assigned to the vaunted Eaton House for our first three years. It was a great experience down at Acadia. Many many stories.
I graduated in 1992 with a Science Degree (Math/Comp Sci.) and went to work with Datacor Atlantic (now xwave) that same year. I met my wife at Datacor, Monique - we were married in 1996 and have two wonderful children now, Drew in 1998 and Ella in 2000. We lived in Saint John for 10 years and just moved back to Riverview in 2004. I am still with xwave, its been 15 years, I have had many different roles from Technical Architect to Project Management. I am currently a Delivery Manager which on occasion has me traveling to somewhat exotic locations, we just recently signed a new contract down in Bermuda.
I have kept in close contact with my man Marty MacLellan, he lives in Halifax, he and I (and 10 other guys) have been making an annual RV trip down to see the New England Patriots in Boston; this past year was our 11th consecutive trip, it's a longer recovery period each year! In 2002 we went on a road trip to see the Patriots in San Diego, met up with Earle Lowe for that game.
Been keeping busy with work, family activities, working out at the YMCA, even competed in a number of regional Triathlons.
I see some faces I recognize from RHS around Riverview now that I am back - I sometimes forget the names that go along with the face - hey its been almost 20 years...
