Sharon VanIderstine Martin
After graduating in '74 I worked for the State of CA and in 1976 married Peter Martin. We had two beautiful children, Jessica (26) and Daniel (25).When we were first married we located to New Mexico for a job Peter accepted. That only lasted 6 months and I was homesick. I always said, "Once a California girl, always a California girl." We relocated to San Mateo and then bought our first house in San Jose in 1979, had our 2 children and both worked for Western Pacific RR. Then relocated to Stockton in 1984(a transfer with the RR),where I lived for the past 21 years and divorced in 1990. I am remarried to a wonderful man, Ron and we are currently living in Las Vegas. We have a beautiful home on 1/2 acre in the Northwest(17 miles from the strip).We go to the strip frequently to see shows,dine at fine restaurants and people watch. We love it! We ride Harleys(actually I ride bitch--on the back)and have met some interesting, fun people riding. I have been working in the education field for the past 20 years,and currently work part time aiding for a 2nd grade class at a private school and part time as a Realtor alongside my husband. My daughter is currenlty living in Santa Clara and is a Real Estate Broker and my son is living in San Diego working as a Manager in a Restaurant.Jessica graduated from Santa Clara Univ. in 2002 and Daniel from San Diego State in 2005.
