So happy to be "connected" to class of 63! As I am technologically challenged, I will be getting a lot of help from my grandson, Trey. He is the oldest of 5, all beautiful, brilliant, talented and the greatest, of course! Aren't yours?
My dash: My married life to Mike Mccollum was filled with "ordinary" and "expected to" and "what would everyone think". We did live in Norway, Singapore and Dubai (when it was still a h... hole). These were good times! We divorced in 1986 (I think) the brain skips sometimes. We did have two fabulous children, parents to those wonderful grandkids, and we still see each other at family events and play nice.
Bert (Layne) and I have been married for 24 years. We met in AA and fell madly in love, we have a goldmine of friends in the program, and our life is filled with "why nots", "where should we go next" and "how can we help". Bert has MD and I have RA, so we're sometimes limited in our adventures,BUT NOT OFTEN! We both battled my breast cancer in 2000, won, and have made the most of our days since. We've cruised to Alaska and the caribbean, bus-toured France, done Mexico, Puerta Rico and fished various and sundry places. Life is good!
