Hello! What an adventure my life has been. I have been blessed with 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren: Angie has three children of her own. They are: William (25, Next is Ryan (21,will be a Junior at UL ... Renee a Sophomore at U L, who enjoys all team sports, excels in Basketball and track..
Jaime Bocade Wade lives in San Diego, CA with her husband, Jim Wade III and our grandpuppy, Murphy. My husband, Tom Carter & I met and married 22 years ago and the family grew to include his 4 children and 6 grandchildren. So now whenever we gather, we are a large group: Combined, we have 6 children and 11 grandchildren. I’m not sure he knew that in the years ahead our lives would resemble that of a gypsy. We both lived in the Lafayette area for most of our adult lives. Twelve years ago we moved from Lafayette to Houston. In 2013, we retired and moved back home to Lafayette.
As the children grew, I went to work as a junior high school teacher, then a counselor and also as a supervisor of a Title 1 Federal Program. I hold a Master's plus Degree in Education, Guidance & Counseling. My passion at the time was working with glass: art glass mirrors, kiln formed vases and fused glass bowls and vases. I have been told that I am a "Renaissance Woman", and I kinda like that. It seems to fit.
I’ve also traveled to many countries of the free world delivering workshops and seminars in both the personal development and in the energy industries. Through the sharing & teaching, I make a contribution to help enrich the lives of those I work with. In my activities, I have authored a book, "Inspired Success" and recorded a meditation C D, "Clearing & Freeing the Way".
Other recent projects include volunteering to work on our high school website and as a member of the National Speaker's Association, I deliver stories of good ole Southern humor slanted toward the personal development and transformation industry.
Currently, I'm on a mission to help humanity turn up the L.I.G.H.T. (Laughter, Inspiration, Gratitude, Happiness, Transformation). I stay committed to my mission. My website and Facebook Fan Page reflect this mission.
On Facebook go to Sissy Grapes First Lady of LIGHT & join.
I look forward to our re-connecting soon. After all, we were such a special class and the first freshman class to go the full four years at the current location of Lafayette High School.
Blessings to all and until we can see one another again,
Happy Trails!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
