BRENDA VAUGHAN GOODMAN
I married Kenny Goodman about a year after graduation and we lived in Willow Street, PA, for about a year, but ended up moving back to Cecil County and continue to live here. After renting homes in the Rising Sun/Colora area, we built a house in Conowingo on land donated by my in-laws. We have lived in the same house for 18 years now and operate a Christmas tree farm out our back door with my in-laws. We have two children, Michael, 26, and Stacey, 22. Michael is married to Lisa Gambill Goodman, and is a civilian employee at APG. He and his wife purchased his great Mom-Mom Goodman's home last year. Its just 3 houses away from us, which will be so awesome whenever grandchildren start coming.
Stacey is in her last year at University of Delaware and will graduate in May with a degree in Music Management. (yes, she is musically talented...wonder where that came from?). She is engaged to Stephen Squier (also a UD student) and they will be married in July, 2010, just in time for Stephen's activation in the United States Air Force. Guess Kenny and I will be having to travel in our "old age".
I have worked for the same law firm in Wilmington, DE, for 20 years and am a paralegal in charge of real estate settlements. Long drive, but good job and I have a boss who cares about his staff.
Still love music and to read, but spend majority of my time keeping up with the kids (yes, even when they are grown, they still need their mother). Hope to enjoy the "empty nest", even though it is a sad time, it will be a new chapter in our lives, with new discoveries to be made. Who knows, we're still young!!
