Sheila Webb Willard
Hey Everyone! Life is pretty sweet! We are living on the Emerald Coast in a little town called Niceville, FL. It's a few miles from Destin, which is one of the 5 most beaches in the world! It's simply, paradise! I'm sorta looking for work, but really focusing on laying on the beach, reading, making some great friends, spending time with Mike and enjoying my daughter's senior year.
Mike is doing great as a manager of a postal plant. Brandon, my 20 year old,,,20,,,crazy,,,is currently attending Northwest Florida State on full scholarship for voice. He will be traveling abroad and performing in France this year!! I'm so proud of him!
Chelsea, my little spitfire, is having a life changing experience. She left her comfy life in RSHS with it's 200(ish) in the senior class to a whopping 600 seniors in Niceville High School! She's cheering for her high school, but the try-out was rediculous!! Her years of competitive cheering helped prepare her, but,,,the south and cheerleading is something to behold. Actually, so are all the sports! They have been practicing 4 days a week for 3 hours a day in extreme heat, since mid-June. It's a 5-A school and Chelsea is psyched for track! She had an incredible back surgery two years ago and she is finally feeling strong and recovered! She's got alot of big ideas after graduation, but for now we are planning a visit to FSU!
The whole family is loving the change of pace.(although we will always love RS!) Our new town is so old school that the town shuts down for football games and has bonfires and pep-rallies before big home games!! However, you simply cross a bridge and you are in a beautiful, tropical paradise! White sugar sands, crystal clear beaches, beautiful outdoor malls, boardwalks, great food(though,,,nothing beats MD Crabs!!),,,it's amazing...I definitly recommend a visit! Destin, Florida(look it up)!!! It's very southern and the accents are so cool!
We'll I guess that's about it, I hope everyone is happy and healthy, and, of course, GOD BLESS!
