Today's Featured Biography
Norman Huston
Married to my lovely and beautiful bride, Joyce, for 52 years this September 4th. We have one son Michael and two grandchildren Matthew and Jessica.
Progressed from Army Private E-1 to GS-14 Fleet Manager for Army CH-47, Chinook Helicopters.
Hobbies: Was Harley's until I crashed in Tennessee. Now it is Muscle cars: 71 Olds Cutlass and 81 black Special Edition, Pontiac, Trans Am. Attend Car Shows and Car Cruises with grandson. He drives the Trans Am and I take the Olds (BTW he attends Community College at nights and works at shop with me full time).
Retirement: Retired Civil Service, US Army Redstone Arsenal, AL in 2005. Still working full time at 70 as Quality Manager for small company repairing and overhauling helicopter rotor blades. Maybe retire again this year???
Places Lived: Grandview, Belton and St. Charles, MO; Vinh Long, South Vietnam (1966-1967),Huntsville AL., Madison AL., Junction City, KS., Hampton, VA..
Countries visited/worked: Egypt, England, Panama, Italy, Greece, Vietnam, Philippines, Canada, Belize, S Korea, Germany and Netherlands.
Note: I would like to "Thank" all my teachers, counselors and fellow student/friends at Grandview for putting up with me and encouraging me to finish High School. It was close but I made it!
