Today's Featured Biography
Debbie Psihountas
Hi everyone. After Wayne, I attended Bowling Green State University, in Bowling Green, Ohio, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in International Business in December, 1983. I went to work for Westinghouse Electric Corporation in Pittsburgh following graduation, working in purchasing, but decided I didn't like that and switched to a career as a stockbroker for Merrill Lynch in their Dayton office, which used to be in the Mead building downtown. Attended the University of Cincinnati and received my MBA with an emphasis in quantitative analysis in 1987. Went to work for Procter and Gamble as a Marketing Analyst, later changing to a career as an education analyst for NCR, working out of Sugarcamp in Oakwood. Stayed there about 3 years, then took a position with the University of Cincinnti, working as a Director for the Center for Human Resource Development. From there, worked as manager of leadership development for Cincinnati Bell Information Systems, then joined DDI (Development Dimensions International) as a sales exec, running the southern Ohio office for almost 7 years before completing my doctorate (also from the University of Cincinnati) in 2000 and taking an academic position with Webster University in 2001, where I stayed until 2018, to raise my daughter Melina, who graduated from Parkway West High School in St. Louis. In summer 2018 I moved to accept a position as Dean, School of Business and Technology, Florida Southwestern State College.
I'm serving as this site administrator currently, so please feel free to send any updates, and I'll try to figure out how to get them up here! Hope life is treating you all very kindly, and look forward to hopefully getting to Huber for some future reunions, God willing. Take care, Debbie
