Gerald (Gerry) Wise
Development Service Manager for Information Services
For Harman Management Corporation
I oversee and direct the design, development and computer programming of all projects that Harman’s does that requires computer programming. You can find me in the Information Technology department at the Murray office of Finance and Technology. I started working for Harman Management Corp (Harman’s) as a consultant in February 1997. I was hired as a full time Harman’s employee in October 1999. I have been at Harman’s until I retired in July 2012.
I was born in Murray, Utah on April, 1944. I grew up in Holladay, Utah. I went to Granite High School and graduated in 1962, I then went on to school and later graduated from the University of Utah with a BS in Mathematics. I started work on a master’s degree at the University of Utah, but left to start my own business before I received my degree. I built and ran a successful computer business for 20 years and then sold the company and got my real estate license in 1990. (I assumed I could semi-retire.)
I married my wife in 1987 Carole and we adopted four children. My children’s names and ages are; Michael 33, Breanne, 32, Zachary (Zach) 22 and T’keyah (Kiki) 20. In 1992, my life changed when I got my two grand children (Zach & Kiki) to raise and I needed to resume a career as an independent consultant in the computer business to pay for this opportunity to raise another set of children. Being semi-retired and in the real estate business just wasn’t lucrative enough to sustain a family of four.
My Hobbies and interests are my family, reading, writing, golf, real estate, investing, and computers.
