We are planning on meeting at::
The Wharf . 606 Quay St, Manitowoc, any time after 5:00 PM until ?
Cash Bar and they do serve food there also.
Located on the south side of the river across from the USS Cobia ((the Submarine))

Manitowoc Yacht Club 815 Maritime Dr , Manitowoc, WI
3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Cash Bar ((no carry ins))
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Live Music Live but not loud music
5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Pizzas Buffet and Salads etc delivered by the Pizza Garden
Nothing formal, blue jeans, shorts, khakis (or poodle skirts for the gals)
Firepit available for outside socializing (( bring lawn chairs or blankets if desired))
Cost: $10.00 per person at the Door /Cash only .. includes a Reunion Booklet

Once again there are a lot of new Venues in downtown Manitowoc you may want to venture off to after we shut
down at the Yacht Club.
Some have live music and others with a much more quiet atmosphere.
If you want a little bit larger meals instead of Pizza.

Today's Featured Biography
Dennis Helke
Upon Graduation I worked Pipeline Construction for 2 years. I join the US Army in April of 1966 and married Jeanne Luebke in July of 1966. I Served 20 years, 2 tours in Germany, one tour in Vietnam, and was station in Ft Wood Missouri for most of my time as an Instructor for the Construction Engineers. My final 5 years was as an advisor to the National Guard and the reserve units in Los Angeles California. I retired from the Army in 1986, moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where we still live until today. I went to work for the City of Indianapolis as a building inspector and became the City Residential Chief. I was voted as the President of the Indiana Building Inspectors and served on several National Code Committees. I also served as an instructor for the building codes for the state of Indiana. After 15 Years I retired from there and worked 2 years for a Company that traveled around the country doing Inspections in Hospitals. After 2 years I retired from there and became a volunteer for an Organization called Second Helpings. They provide meals for 3000 a day. This inspired me and my wife to start a food pantry which we call Livingbread, located in Greenwood, Indiana. We have provided food for approximately 30,000 a year for the last 6 years. We also helped start another organization called Storehouse Ministries which provides free furniture to people that are in need such as for people that were homeless and are starting over. Furniture is donated to us free which we pick up and we redirect it to the people in need. We currently own a summer vacation house in Manitowoc just west of Green street Restaurant were we try to spend time because its cooler by the lake. We have had a very exciting and adventurous life, Adopting 3 children one of them a boy and when he got discharged from the Navy him and I drove across country on Motorcycles from Seattle to Indianapolis, taking approximately a month to drive in short distances at a time experiencing the back roads of the country. I am in reasonable good health at this time and love to ride my motorcycle around the country side.
