Jackie Lawrence
Hi, I had a great time at the reunion last Sat. I live in Costa mesa , work in Santa Ana for Olive Crest in a Non Public School,TEC, as an administrative assistant . I've been with them for 8 yrs.now. I am still doing hair ,which is my long time employment since 1969, at Salon Victoria in Irvine. You can reach me there 3 days a week. I've had two marriages that lasted about 12 years each. I shall keep the details closed!No one really wants to know and frankly I've forgotten most of the details! Life is good for me I am surrounded by a great family and some very good friends with whom I was reunited last Sat. at the reunion. My son ,Marc Delgado lives in Corona Del Mar,just recently returning from San Diego where he went to college and worked.He now works in Newport and is working on his masters degree at UCI in International Business and Finance. He got to spend some time in China as part of the program. My daughter Dawnn lives in Grass Valley with her husband Marty, his three children,Gage,Ciara and Kayden ,of which they have full custody. Darrell Elliott(Dawnn's father)was able to spend the last two years of his life with her . We all got together about 8 years ago and have had a very good relationship. Darrell passed away August 6th 2005. He had been battling several ailments for awhile. I know that he was truely happy for the time that he ,Dawnn and I got to spend together. My parents are still with me and for that I am very grateful and feel very blessed. Mom is undergoing chemotherapy,at 81,and Daddy is having some kidney problems at 85. They will be celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on October 11th. Awesome, isn't it? Well that's about it in a nut shell. Will let you know if anything exciting happens. P.S.If you like wine and happen to be in San Juan Capistrano stop by the Napa Valley Wine Bar and say "Jackie sent you". My friends Julie, Rae Lynn and Obe opened up adout 2 months ago . They serve only California wines and they have several "Road Trips" you can try. See you there!
