Today's Featured Biography
Corinne Shaw Muriset
Enjoyed my childhood being raised on my parent's dairy in Chino. I played with fellow classmates, Gertie Y., Sharon W., Johnny B., Ronnie P., Mike B., Ray B., Charlie + Jim M., Bernice E., Penny B. (I named my horse after her), and later my best high school friend, Diane Young. I married my Chino High School sweetheart, Bob Muriset, after graduating from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo. We stayed in SLO and raised our two girls, Robin and Jaymee. They are both happily married and living in San Francisco and Claremont, CA. We get to see them and their growing families monthly (Robin and Paul have 2 little girls 4 and 2....Jaymee and David have one in the oven due Nov. 2007. By the next time I access this bio again, I am sure the numbers will double.)
So that is about it. Bob and I will probably never leave our home on the Central Coast. We love it here. We were both fortunate to be from such great beginnings. Couldn't have asked for a better family (all parents have passed away now), childhood experiences and friends in Chino and a continued great life. It is fun to hear from my old Chino friends and I occasionally get to see great friends like Mike and Jeanette Bidart, Jerry Sagouspe, Ronnie Petersma, Anthony (and wife) Surina, Diana (Young) and Gary Weiberg. Recently I saw Jackie Larwence and Penny Bernard. What a joy. Ellen Liefer (previously married to Rich Cadarette) remains one of my best friends and all our children are very close .. same with Mike and Jeanette Bidart's daughter, Andréa. Saw some people I haven't seen in many years at Coach Frank Elder's funeral. What a great person he was. I know his great character and values continue on in the hearts and minds of his children (Robert Elder married my college roommate, Dede) and the many lives he touched (my Bob will never forget him..loved him). We all have a lot to live up to, and have no excuse but to do our best in this ever-changing and challenging world, given our deep and rich family and good Chino roots.
We look forward to the next Chino reunion. Many thanks to people like Dianna Miller, that put these things together. Do not hesitate to call or come by and see us anytime here in SLO.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
