Beverly Lott Holliday
Bev’s Bio
Ms. Beverly Holliday is a published Author writing books and poetry since the age of nine. She has always been able to express herself with the written word. Ms. Holliday heard the calling from God to write bible stories for children and is currently working on a series of Children’s Bible Stories.
Ms. Holliday is currently the Executive Assistant for Cedric Pride Entertainment. In this position she has successfully executed events; planning, organizing, supervising which includes program development, delivery, and evaluation, as well as fundraising, budget setting, knowledge management, and research materials. Assigns, directs and reviews the work of technical support, and provides training and development. Plans work schedules and sequences of operations to assure an even flow and distribution of marketing materials.
Ms. Holliday received her BS in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. She continued her education in health care after working as an LPN for over ten years. After practicing and working as a Night Shift Supervisor for Life Cares of America and Charge Nurse for various other organizations continuing in health care was an easy step. However, Ms. Holliday’s focus shifted after teaching Sunday school classes she is currently seeking her Master of Education from Liberty University.
Ms. Holliday also has a passion for the community in which she lives. She has worked with several organizations that labor to aid the homeless population in Denver. As a former member of Zion Temple Pentecostal Apostolic Church, Ms. Holliday was a Team Leader for the Family and Senior Homeless Initiative Program (FHSI). This program is set-up by the Mayor of Denver, John Hickenlooper, under the direction of Wayne Henderson where local churches adopt a family or senior off the street, helping them to obtain housing and mentoring the family or senior until they can become stable. Another programs she became involved with was the Lord’s Daily Bread (LDB) organization; a program that every Saturday would go to downtown Denver and feed the homeless meals and offer prayer to those in need. Ms. Holliday volunteered with the Colorado School of Ballet – Performing Arts Foundation as the Public Relations Specialist. This was an organization dedicated to bringing the Arts to urban communities in Colorado offering free dance classes and performances to school aged children. Ms. Holliday wrote several grants for the organization increasing the funding amounts over $7,500 in two years.
Ms. Holliday abiding commitment to non-profit charitable organizations has been characterized by continued service with events such as A. Phillip Randolph Institute, Friendship Baptist Church’s Fundraising Ministry, and The Wish Foundation.
