Today's Featured Biography
Jennifer Sarver
As some of you may know, I encountered God my senior year of high school and became a Christian. Much of my life I suffered from rejection, abuse, and fear. My parents divorced when I was four and I was raised by my mother and stepfather. While they tried their best to be good parents to me, there were many hurtful things they said and did to me during my teenage years. I was angry. I always felt like an outcast and struggled with making friends. I often gave in to peer pressure simply longing to be loved and I rebelled against my parents and was very hurtful to my sister. Then my senior year of high school I attended my best friend's youth group at Victory Church in Westminster. The minute I walked into that church and heard the music playing, I felt love like I had never felt before. It scared me, but I was desperate for it. That night I became aware that there was a God who loved me and I realized how unable I was to receive His love or to draw near to Him. I knew I was broken as a person and weak and prone to do anything that would heal the pain in my heart. I knew that night that I needed Jesus. About a month later, I raised my hand during a church service and gave my life to Christ. Since that time, I have sought to know this man Jesus in every area of my life. It has been a precious journey and every day I discover how amazing He is and I long to know Him more. About a year ago He called me to Kansas City to be a part of the International House of Prayer (www.ihop.org) and I am currently a minister to the Lord full-time. But most importantly, I have the privilege of knowing this amazing God who loves me and died for me. Every day I understand more of who He is and it makes me love Him more. The day I gave my life to Jesus I stepped into the reality of an eternity with God and I thank Him every day for rescuing me from myself and from my sin. I share this with you because I believe that God is calling to you. He loves you with an everlasting love that cannot be quenched. He is merciful, gentle, and faithful and He wants you to know Him. If you want to know Him, you must realize how desperately you really need Him. That the only way to God is through Jesus Christ, His Son, who paid the price for your sin. If you will today confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart that He was raised from the dead, then you will be saved. I am here to pray with you and encourage you to seek the Lord. Contact me anytime. You are all in my prayers. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. He did not come into the world to condemn it, but that through Him they might be saved." John 3:16-17.
In God's Love,
Jenn

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
