20 years! Where did it go?I’ll try to make this as brief as possible…
After graduation I remained in Commerce City until early 1989 when I enlisted in the Air Force. I spent four years as a Fuels Specialist, specializing in Aviation Fuels and Cryogenic Liquids Accounting at Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas. I opted not to reenlist and returned to Denver in the summer of ’93 and started a long career in the airline / travel industry beginning with International Reservations Sales at Continental Airlines. I eventually found my way to Carlson Wagonlit Travel where I worked as an Instructional Designer developing the company’s training programs. In October 2001 I moved to Nashville, Tennessee to be with my partner, Greg, who makes his living in the music industry. Shortly after my move (early 2002) I quit my job with CWT to escape the volatility of the travel industry that resulted from the 911 attacks. I enrolled at Middle Tennessee State University majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in K-6 education. Somehow, I thought teaching would be more fulfilling than what I was doing. It took three years to realize that elementary education (in Tennessee, at least) wouldn’t be a good fit for me, so in summer 2005 I went back into the airline business, first as a Customer Service Agent at Nashville Airport for Frontier Airlines and then as a Flight Attendant. Flying was the best job in the world. However, I was commuting from Nashville to Denver every week and rarely spent more than 36 hours at home. The long periods away finally became unbearable, so this past March, I left the industry again, this time, to join Greg in the music business. I’m now working as a Sales Coordinator for Village Square Music, a small, but growing record label founded by Greg.
Greg and I don’t have any children…yet. We spend what little free time we find enjoying the live music Nashville is known for and hanging with a great group of friends. I’ve been so inspired by the city’s music scene, I’ve decided to take up music again (I haven’t played sax since our band trip to Orlando). I start classes at the Nashville Jazz Workshop this summer! Greg and I also travel frequently. We just returned from a nine-day trip to Vieques, Puerto Rico. Chances are you’ve never heard of it, but it’s a place you have to visit. I’ve never seen more beautiful beaches!
My niece, Brie, just graduated from Adams City in May ’06, making me feel ancient. My nephew, Cody, is next. I have another niece, Krystin. My brother, Dave, and Gina still live close to Commerce City and I spend time with them when I can.
I’m looking foreword to seeing everyone, but especially my two best school pals, Crystal and Laurie!

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
