Today's Featured Biography
Kris Nelson Foster
I can't believe 30 years have gone by so quickly. I remember my dad attending his 30 year reunion in Burley,Idaho and thinking, "I wonder what all those old people have to talk about!" I guess I'm eating those words because I don't feel old!
I attended BSU after high school majoring in Voice performance. In 1981 I married a 1977 Borah graduate, Kelly Foster. We had 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls) in the next 6 years, yes, you read that correctly!
Our oldest, Scott, is married and an Art professor at Utah State. Rob,is the manager of Precision Time at Boise Towne Square, Tera, also married is finishing her Accouting Degree at BSU, and our youngest, Lara is a Jr at University of Portland studying Criminal Justice. They have been the joy of our lives. When they were young I wondered some days what on earth we were thinking! But looking back I would do it all over again.
I returned to school in 1994 to finish my degree. I currently teach 32 piano students a week and am Asst. Music Director at St Marks Catholic Church and director of the Contemporary Ensemble. Kelly and I were blessed with our first grandchild a year ago, a granddaughter, Berkley. We are looking forward to seeing everyone in August!
