Timothy Hines
My current profession is with Keller Williams Real Estate. I married Jenny on July 4, 2009. Jenny and I are in the business together working for Keller Williams Realty Partners in Overland Park. After high school I went to Johnson County Community College for 2 1/2 years. Then went on to Kansas State University where I earned a B.S. in Computer Science in 1983, worked full-time for a software contracting company, and at the same time completed my Master's degree in 1986 in Computer Science. I married the first time in 1987 and we moved to Olathe, Kansas where we had a daughter who is now 19 and attending Benedictine College. During that time I earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1996. I worked for Informix Software for 7 years until the company was bought by IBM for a billion dollars and much of the workforce was let go. After Informix, I worked as a project manager for a software startup company, we built several websites e.g. KC Bobcat. I also worked part-time as an adjunct professor for KU Edwards Campus, JCCC, UMKC, and was a full-time professor for Park University for a year teaching Computer Science courses. There have been ups and downs in the computer business and when things just weren't going the way they should with the dotcom downturn, I started flipping homes like the do on TV with shows like "flip this house". I still enjoy flipping homes but Jenny and I have been concentrating on growing our business as a team working with Keller Williams. Jenny and I have been doubling our business every year we are in the top 25 agents in our office out of 200 agents. Our motto is "Clients First", we strive to do the very best we can and make every effort to provide a positive and A+ service. Jenny and I have three children, the 19 year old at Benedictine College, an 18 year old Senior at Shawnee Mission South High School, and an 8th grader who is currently Miss Kansas Pre-Teen and is attending Indian Woods Middle School.
