Today's Featured Biography
Scott Fausset
Chapter 1: Born Texas City TX. Moved all over between VA and TX. Started Kindergarten in Spain. Started 1st grade in KCMO (Rolands Elementary? 39th & Main).
Chapter 2: Played Jr High football and cut-up in classes with Earl Campbell in TX.
Chapter 3: Moved to Indep in 1974 as a sophmore. Won (1st and 4th place) the KC HS Student Writers contest...could not let everyone know and confirm what a panzy I was...Mrs Reading - caught me disrupting class and made me enter my scribbles.
Chapter 4: Graduated HS Jan 76, walked in May. Carpenter's apprentice Jan 1976 - KS, MO, and OK. Worked the door at Good Vibes bar in KS. Overslept interviews w/Arthur Murray Studio and Deney Terrio Group. Met the Gap Band late one night (they were lost), partied all night in their hotel room.
Chapter 5: Entered Air Force May 77. Traveled to exotic places like TX, IL, & AR. Married first victim in 1978. Had 3 small Scotts. Traveled to GA, TN, TX, CAN, & UK. Released first victim 1983.
Chapter 6: Married second victim 1984. Whisked her off to UK. Bicycled UK for 4 years, played softball, fixed planes, got medals & bigger head ... caught a bank robber; Securicor and Queen awarded me for bravery.
Chapter 7: Had 4th Scott in CA. Toured CA competing in Racquetball tournaments. Experienced the Oakland quake and fires. Met Jeff Montgomery and kids. Retired from the Air Force May 1997. Moved family to Carbondale IL. Recruited by SUI for doctorate program. Bickered w/inflated PHDs & learned from others. Offered position at OP, KS - learning technologies company called Human Dynamics Inc. Tucked my tail and ran to a paycheck Dec 1998.
Chapter 8: Moved to Olathe 1999. Innovated EPSS software & online courseware. Led local corporation eLearning projects and did executive coaching gigs. Designed and developed Army online courses.
Chapter 9: Second victim had my walking papers courteously delivered Jan 2006. Spent next 4 years in masculine renovation and feline repatriation. Became Dept of Army Intel Analyst 2008. Spent the best birthday party with my 50 year old friends. Met long lost sister. Met my biological father his wife and three siblings [total of 7 now]. Reprimanded by my friends for not participating on facebook - 2009.
Epilogue: Today I enjoy 5 sons, three daughter-in-laws, 6 grandsons, and 4 granddaughters. My grandmother passed last year(98). I also married again last year with a Chinese lady and added a great 19 year old son. Every day is new and marvelous. I spent all of May 2016 in Chongqing, China meeting her family and friends. It was a thrilling adventure. Still writing on Group Dynamics as well as Instructional Designs and managing curricula for the Army.
