Hello to everyone from the great class of ‘88’. It’s been a fantastic 20 years and I’m looking forward to catching up with everyone.
My life’s adventure started with my enrollment and subsequent graduation in the Masters of Architecture program at Montana State University. After graduation I relocated to Salt Lake City, UT to start my career as an architect.
Over my 12 year tenure in Salt Lake, I spent the first 5 years with a national company and then as a partner in a local firm. In late 1999, I left my architectural practice to start a parallel career in development, and spent the next 7 years as Vice President of a start-up company. During that time, I had the great opportunity to participate in aggressive growth and finally taking the company public in 2004.
During my time in Salt Lake, I married Robbi (Hathaway), my beautiful wife and great Miles City girl! We have a wonderful marriage and three beautiful children. Brooke is finishing her junior year in high school and loves to play guitar. Nikolas is in third grade and excelling in baseball and football, and Elli is in first grade and doing great in her first year of softball and swims like a fish.
In 2006, I decided that it was time to move on as I was traveling weekly and missing time with my family. After many discussions with my wife, in November 2006 I started a year long commute to Orlando, Florida, with the intentions of setting up my own development company. In August of 2007, my family and I relocated to Orlando, and have been enjoying the year round warmth as well as success with the new business.
