Mae Costello
Wow, 20 years!
Okay, so after high school I traveled a bit and then attended The Evergreen State College where I received a BA in Russian Studies. After graduation, I moved to Russia and lived/studied there for just under a year (which is why I missed the ten year class reunion).
After returning from Russia, I moved to Portland, Oregon and went to the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. I received my MA in traditional Chinese medicine in 2005 and have been in private practice since then.
I really enjoy working with people challenged by cancer, HIV/AIDS, MS, and other immune compromising conditions.
Recently, I have joined an organization called Returning Veterans Resource Network Northwest, which offers free counseling, acupuncture, and many other types of support for veterans of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. If you know anyone who could benefit from such support, please refer them to:

Ironically, I traveled the world only to return to the Pacific NW, where I fell in love with my partner Matt, who hails from Seabeck, WA. We dated briefly when we were 17 and then lost touch for over a decade before finding each other again 3 years ago.
We spend our free time traveling, hiking in the Columbia River Gorge, and playing with our Siamese cat, Lola.
