Today's Featured Biography
Geraldine (Gerye) Franz Bell
After I graduated from Dupont Manual, I worked for two years. I then attended St. Paul Bible College in St. Paul, MN for four years. It was at St. Paul that I met Mark Bell from Kalispell, MT. We were married in August of 1965 after I graduated from St. Paul. We moved to Missoula, MT and I worked until Mark finished two remaining years at the University of Montana. In 1967, upon his graduation, we moved to Havre, MT where Mark taught English and History for five years. We then moved to Cody, WY. Mark managed the produce department in one of the grocery stores until an English teaching job opened in the Junior High School. He taught there until his retirement in 2001. I did not work outside our home. I taught private violin students for twenty seven years and enjoyed the challenge very much. I loved the one on one of private teaching. Both our sons went into the Marine Corps after high school graduation. Our oldest is now a teacher of English in a private school in Missouri and our youngest is a Marine recruiter and plans to continue in the Marine Corp until retirement. Tom has two daughters ages five and two and Dan has a little girl 17 months. We retired to Ten Sleep five years ago. For the past twelve summers Mark and I have trailed cattle for a rancher here. We trail the cows (actually we started with his sheep until he sold them) about seventy miles from the valley to the mountains where they stay all summer. We actually bought our own sheep wagon and lived in it on the mountain. We had no running water, electricity or modern conveniences. It was peaceful and wonderful. We have so much fun working together. The work is hard and we not only ride horses checking and taking care of the cattle, but, we also mend fences. During the winter months Mark substitue teaches at our little school in Ten Sleep and also in the schools in Worland, WY which is twenty-five miles from here and also the closest town.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
