Dear All,
After graduation I attended the University of Kentucky and received a Bachelors degree in Architecture in 1974.I then attended Cornell University and received a Masters of Architecture in Urban Design in 1976. I moved to Chicago for my internship and passed my Registration exams in 1979 , achieving NCARB Registration in 1985.
I practiced with the firm of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill ( Chicago Office) for 25 years and presently I am with Tvsdesign and have been in practice with them for the last 5 years.
I have had the good fortune to practice with many creative and talented individuals, designing interesting large scale and small scale projects located in many different locations around the world.
My wife Jean and I have been married for 24 years . I have two wonderful children. My son Joseph will be in his second year of college this fall and my daughter Claire will be in her junior year in high school this fall.
We as a family love to ski in the winter and sail ,bike and swim in the warm weather. My house is usually filled with music at some point in the day since my wife ,son and daughter all play multiple musical instruments and belong to various groups and practice is a necessity. (I love hearing the sustained effort and transformations that occur in practice that come to fruition at performance time)
I wish everyone the best and pray for those who are facing difficult personal challenges at this time.
