After High School I went to Cosmetology School at Cowley and worked for 2 years at Hair Affair. In 1990 I married Richard Hollister(Class of 86). We have lived in Ark City since High School. I then went to work at a local bank for several years and we had our first son Cody in 1993. Then Emily came along in 1995. After she was born I decided to stay at home with my kids. After several years at home I realized I was not a stay at home Mom and needed to get out of the house and go back to work part time. I ended up going back to doing hair for a few years. I then started working at Cowley College in the Bookstore in 2000 and have been there every since. I truly love my job. Richard has worked for General Electric since 1988. We have been blessed with 2 great kids that keep us very busy with all their sports. It is hard to believe our son Cody is 15, a freshman in High School and driving. Our daughter Emily is almost 13 and in the 7th Grade. They grow up so fast. In our spare time when we are not going to baseball, basketball, softball or volleyball games my family likes to ride their dirtbikes.
It doesn't seem like we have been out of school 20 years. Can't wait until our 20 year reunion that will be here before we know it. Hope everyone is doing good. See you at the reunion.
