Today's Featured Biography
Cathleen Cook Miller
I've stayed busy over the years during marriage and after divorce as a mom raising three children. The empty nest syndrome hit in 2008 when my youngest graduated from High School. With no school and sport activities I thought I would be bored with home and work life. But I have grandchildren, who were in the same activities. Two children live within 20 minutes, the 3rd is 1 1/2 hrs away. As of 2018 I have five grandchildren ages 19, 17, 10, 7, & 5 so that gives me a chance to stay involved by watching them in soccer, basketball, softball, gymnastics and dance recitals. I enjoy taking drives on the back country roads (by car or motorcycle), and thru the years I've gone backpacking, hiking, camping, boating, skiing (water & snow), skating (ice & roller), bicycling and bowling. Life is a little slower now, but I enjoy camping, boating, kayaking, & bicycling, & hiking with family and friends. I've met a wide variety of people over the years, and had several twists and turns along life's road. Being involved in the plannings of three class reunions has been fun and given me the chance to become reacquainted with classmates that I hung around with and some I didn't, which has been great. Looking forward to assisting with another reunion this year.
