Today's Featured Biography
Monique Stubbs Nelson
After graduating from Northwestern, I went on to Towson State University (now Towson University) with a BS in Economics. I graduated from there in 1993 and returned to North Brentwood, MD. I started working at NIH as an Invetory Analyst. They transferred me to Baltimore (worse commute ever...). I left there in 1996. My husband and I met at church in 1993 and we got married in 1996. Bryan Houser (some of you may remember him) was one of the Groomsmen. Then I moved back to Washington, DC and started working at the Washington Hospital Center until 1998. I left there and started as a contractor in Telecommunications at the Dept of Treasury and that's where I am today. Although I've been there since 1998, I've held a few positions and right now I love my job (and it's been over a year). My husband and I have two daughters, Christiana who is 6 and Ariana who is 5. If yu're ever in downtown DC, look me up.....
