I have lived in Middleton since the early 70's. After attending MATC I worked for WPS Insurance for 10 years as a Medicare Claims Adjustor but I have spent most of my career at Springs Window Fashions in Sales & Marketing. The best part of my job was coordinating our travel promotions for customers. That included doing the site inspections for trips as well as accompanying the winners and our staff on the annual trips which included Hawaii, Mexico, Ireland and numerous cruises. It was great fun and the perfect job for a single person. After I got married I transferred to the Credit Department where I am a Credit Specialist.
I married Jerry Maly in December of 2006. Even though I never thought I would have children and grandchildren I now have three wonderful sons, Keith - 48, Ken - 46 and Joe - 42. Also some fabulous daughters in law, and six grandchildren ranging in age from 3 to 21. And of course Zoe, my 10 year old Shih Tzu, who is a very loving and important part of our family. She has been my companion thru good times and bad over the years and is very happy to have all these new members in her family.
The best trip I have ever been on was visiting my niece when she lived in Prague. My sister and I traveled with my niece to Switzerland, Germany, throughout the Czech Republic and Hungary. That trip of course is second only to our Honeymoon in Alaska.
One of the things that I have kept up since high school is singing. I have been a member of St Bernard's Choir in Middleton for years. Jerry and I also sing with the Madison Diocesan Choir. We were also very fortunate to be part of a US Choral Group that sang in Rome at the Italian Music Festival in 2008.
My spare time is filled with Grandkids, reading, working out, photo books, travel, biking, and being outside whenever possible. Life is Good!
