Steve Tammi

Left Wisconsin 3 days after graduation and rambled around for 6 years before settling in Tennessee. Met my wife in Memphis and we have three kids. We usually visit Wisconsin every year, in the summer time, I will leave it you hard core Wisconsinites to tackle the winters.

A few weeks ago we were home for a visit and I took my kids to Devils Lake via the Merrimac ferry. I spent a lot of time there during the summers and it brought back good memories. Although it did feel kind of weird having to buy an out of state pass.

If life is a game our life is a soccer game. We have two kids playing competitive soccer right now so it is all about soccer practice, soccer games and soccer tournaments, as long as they maintain their grades that is, and when the kids aren’t playing I step on the field a couple times a week for some over 30 soccer. Just in case no one told you this would happen I want to warn ya’ll… Once you’re over 40 and you chase a soccer ball around the field for 90 minutes be prepared for pain. Ibuprofen, or better, will be your best friend.

I’ve been gone a long time and it would be great to see how many classmates I could identify but the timing isn’t right for me attend this class reunion.

I can tell you this there is no place on this earth that has better people, beer, brats and sweet corn than Wisconsin.

I hope everyone enjoys the reunion.

(Wish I had still had as much hair as I had in my senior picture.) 8-)
