Don Hart

Ladies and Gentlemen I am looking forward to seeing all of you, most likely while enjoying a libation. Please drink until I am attractive. I know it may take a large quantity, but try. Here is my story: It took me 10 years to get a 4 year degree. I was underachieving as a scholar and over achieving as a bartender with overactive hormones. I was lucky enough to meet my wife who I kept intoxicated until we were married - it was harder for her to escape after marriage. I worked in the nursing field for about 5 years mostly in a cardiovascular intensive care unit (I can use big words now and know the meaning). At this time Jill became pregnant with Gabe. The "Dad" thing was a blessing because I finally realized it was time to grow up. Do not worry, I am very good at regressing back to adolescence after a cocktail or 2. This can be enhanced if in the company of one of our classmates that I used to hang out with.
Now with the mindset of a true adult I went to graduate school. First, I had to take a couple of classes at Marquette to improve my grade point-that was slightly impaired from skipping classes at Boo U to enjoy an ice cold beer and a good game of pool. Next, I went to Saint Mary's University in Minneapolis for a Masters degree in science with an emphasis in anesthesia. At this point in life there was no skipping classes. Last summer I received my degree and became a Nurse Anesthetist and moved to Mauston, WI. Moving from Minneapolis to Mauston is like when you're really drunk and thought you went home with Elle MacPherson and wake up with Rosie O'Donnel. The Confederate flag, the mullet with a tail, lack of teeth and personal hygiene are alive and kicking in Juneau County. There is much more to the story but I am saving it for the book and/or movie. I am looking forward to pretending I am at a beer party out in the middle of nowhere without fear of getting busted. Cliff's bringing the BEERBONG!
