Today's Featured Biography
Melissa Koch Spinelli
After graduation moved to Largo, FL. Then to New York to go SUNY at Stony Brook. Left to become a "stewardess" with American Airlines. Flew 41 years, all around the world and still have more to see. I did special assignments within the company. This enabled me to be home with my little girl part time and fly part time. Taught yearly emergency procedures/medical testing, writing proceedures for the lower lobe galley, being a union rep for professional standards and probationers,helping with the redisign of the DC10-10,working travel shows and recruiting new flight attendants,kept things intriguing. Started out in NewYork city, moved to LA next KS, but flying out of Chicago, quite a commute. Then back to LA area. Now San Diego. If I see water, I have to swim, I hike with my 100lb flat back german shepard, dancing, high heels (they are becoming lower and lower) and exploring the world. In the last few months of 2025, I've been to Cayman Islands, Africa,Colonial Williamsburg and sking in Mammoth. To meet people from around the world and experience their cultures has been a constant education.
