Today's Featured Biography
Allen Davis
After High School I attended College and graduated in 82’with a BS in Accounting from Florida Southern College. That summer I married a fellow 78’ classmate and during our five years of marriage we were blessed with twin boys, Andrew and Adam.
About a year after our divorce I joined the Army and have made it a career. My career field was resource management, finance, and accounting. My second year in the Army found me stationed in Indianapolis, IN were I meet my beautiful wife Darla. We have been happily married for over 22 years. We have two wonderful children Fawn and Bryce, so with the twins it gives us four great kids. The Army gave our family a wonderful chance to travel extensively throughout Europe when they stationed me in Belgium for about six years. From Belgium I returned to the DoD Finance and Accounting Center in Indianapolis, IN were we spent another three years. After Indy we spent a few years at Ft Hood, TX were I served in operations and as a First Sergeant. While at Ft Hood I was deployed for the first time to Kuwait and Iraq. I was selected and attended the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy in El Paso, TX.
After Graduation from the Academy we return to Ft Hood so our son Bryce could pursue his love for baseball. The move paid off for him and he is now on scholorship and playing baseball in College.
After another deployment to Afganistan I retired from the Army and went right back to work as a Budget Analyst at the Army Medical Center on Fort Hood, TX.
