East High School - Class of 1964

We are looking forward to sunshine & finding out what you all have been doing. This luncheon normally has a larger attendance. So we hope that many of you will be joining us. So far, the Monday luncheons are well attended. We are seeing more classmates.

Today's Featured Biography

Jeff Wickstrom

While wintering in Florida three years ago I took a Basic Drawing course at the local art museum and discovered I love to draw. I've been drawing ever since, taking an occasional class at our local art school, but mainly pursuing my own path based on my growing collection of drawing books. I greatly admire the Old Masters. I work in a realistic style in graphite, charcoal and sanguine. Portraits, nude figures, and historic buildings.

So now Ann and I visit art museums and art shows, where I sometimes exhibit my pieces. I was delighted that all three of my drawings sold recently at the 50th Annual Bath County Art Show. My first actual sales. I've also had my work rejected in a local juried show, but I'm encouraged that my drawings are now hanging on somebody's wall.

Then there's always the painting of our historic house, circa 1840, and building reproduction antique furniture in my carpenter shop.

Other than that, I play with the cats and waste time sitting on the porch.
