After high school, I attended Stanford University from 1964-1968 where I majored in sociology, played Freshman basketball and was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. My summers were spent working in an orphanage in Hong Kong, teaching in a poor barrio in Cali, Columbia and studying abroad in Florence Italy. After graduation I lived in Boston and northeast Connecticut working as a VISTA volunteer and participating in community action programs. I subsequently joined the Peace Corps and spent two years in Swaziland working with prisoner social programs. The following year was spent doing community resource projects for the Bremerton School District. I attended law school at the University of Colorado in Boulder, graduating in 1975, followed by a year of legal work with Seattle Legal Services in Pioneer Square. I married Lorinne Lee in 1976 in Piedmont, California. We established residency in Bremerton where I worked for the next six years as a legal aid attorney for Kitsap Legal Services (old Smith School) and Evergreen Legal Services (medical-dental building). In 1982, I established my private practice specializing in civil and senior issues. That same year we moved to the Sunset Beach area of Hood Canal where we continue to reside. We have two children-- Stewart 29 and Emily 24. My wife Lorinne is an art teacher at Olympic High School (near the Fairgrounds in East Bremerton), where she teaches painting, drawing, pottery, stained glass, AP art studio and for the past three years, AP art history which she loves. Our son graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2008 and our daughter from Dartmouth College in 2007. As a family we attended the World Cups in France 1998 and Germany 2006 and very much hope to go to South Africa for the World Cup in 2010. One highlight was returning to Swaziland last year on a trip to Africa to visit our daughter who was working in Zambia. Lorinne and I enjoy our children, art, travel, soccer and our good fortune. We support the ACLU, Amnesty International, Southern Poverty Law Center, Doctors Without Borders, the Brady Campaign, Central Asia Institute, Grass Roots Soccer (African HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention program), FINCA, KPLU and local charities. We look forward to visiting with all of you at the reunion.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
