Today's Featured Biography
Paul Duane
Hi all!!! It's been great looking at all the profiles to see what everyone is doing. It' seems amazing to me that many of you are grandparents. I joined that club last year with beautiful, twin granddaughters. It just doesn't seem that long ago when we graduated.
Following graduation I worked at Denny's while attending Olympic College. Worked as an auto mechanic for 4 years. In 1984, I went to work at PSNS where I was trained through the apprenticeship as a marine electrician. I've had a number of different jobs at PSNS and currently work in the aircraft carrier business office where I have been since 2001. It's an interesting and challenging job and is similar to cat herding.
In 1981 I married Debbi Walker, a CK grad (I don't hold it against her). We have 3 great kids in various stages of life. The oldest, Aaron, graduated from University of Portland, is an electrical engineer and is a B-52 Navigator and instructor in the Air Force stationed in Pensacoa, FL. My daughter, Rochelle, graduated from Jamestown College, got a special ed certificate at WSU, is enjoying married life and being a mother of twin girls. She is married to Andrew, who is an electrical engineer at PSNS. My youngest, Peter, graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in environmental science. Peter is married to Katie, who is also a WWU grad with an environmental science degree. They recently arrive in Portugal for a year of language school which will be followed by working as missionaries in Mozambique working for Foundations in Farming teaching local people not only how to provide food for their families but also to help support their families and learn about faith in Christ.
We enjoy spending our spare time traveling, RVing, boating, working in the yard or doing things with our kids. We like to spend time in San Diego, me working, the wife laying on the beach and reading.
Still living in Bremerton, I do see a handfull of classmates now and then at work, at Costco, or other places where people go. Feel free to drop me a line and let me know what you are up to.
Best wishes,
Paul Duane

Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
