After graduating I attended four different schools in four years. I started out in drama and German, and ended up my junior year at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. I then finished a degree in German from the University of Colorado. I stayed on in Boulder another year and had the opportunity to learn sign language. In 1973 I decided to become a teacher of the deaf and moved to Monmouth, Oregon on a federal grant. I worked with deaf people for 5 years as a teacher and counselor, then became a special education teacher in a resource room at the high school level. My husband was a middle school science teacher, and we settled in Lebanon where we spent the remainder of our career as public school teachers. We have one son we adopted from Korea when he was 3 months old. We now have two wonderful grandsons. I have been singing with the Lebanon Community Chorus since 1988, and I am so glad to have this opportunity to sing music similar to what we sang at South. I am also regularly involved in community theater. Life is good in the Northwest. I enjoy visiting in Colorado, but am happy to coming home to Oregon.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
