After high school I was drafted into the U.S. Army and served from 1969 to 1971. Fort Ord Ca., Fort Hood Tx., and with the 25th Infantry Div. in Cu Chi South Viet Nam. My last two months in the Army were served from Fitzsimons Army Hospital here in Denver. I was not injured, but my father was dying and I was stationed close to home.
I married Trudy Glaze, class of ’68, and we have three wonderful children, Cory, Derek, and Terry. Trudy and I grew apart and divorced, but are still good friends and see each other on birthdays and holidays.
In 1975 I joined the Denver Police Department. I worked as a Patrolman until 1984 when I was promoted to Detective. In 1985 I was asked to work in the Homicide Unit on a trial basis, that lasted until 1995. In ’95, I transferred to the Crime Lab and worked as a Crime Scene Detective until I retired in 2007.
I’ve always had a fascination with cops and robbers so police work was right up my alley. I never regretted taking that job and I always had fun doing it.
Backing up a bit, in 1993 I married my current wife, Kelly, (from Wisconsin), and in 2001 we went to China and adopted a baby girl, Gabriella. She’s 15 now, going 25 but a great kid. She is an Honor student at Bear Creek High School and a dancer.
I like to hunt and fish and ride my bike, as in bicycle…….I wrecked a motorcycle in 1977 and that was enough for me.
We are all well and healthy and we hope to continue to enjoy retirement for at least another 40 or 50 years…why not?

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
