The banquet was a huge success! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner together and watched the Senior Slide show prepared by Dr. Ton.
We were also very honored to have Mr. Deal. Mrs. Hauck and her husband, Mrs. Salazar. Mr. Elliott, Dr. Ton, and Wr. Wuth join us at the event!

It was an awesome time going back to South High School and roaming the halls! We even got to go up to the observation deck of the tower and see the beautiful museum set up by the South High Alumni and Friends Inc. (SHAFI).

After school, I attended Stanford, Harvard, and Princeton before being shipped overseas to Oxford on a full scholarship. I was bored with my studies and I dropped out so that I could become a hull janitor in the U.S. Navy. I eventually graduated to poop-deck swab when I jumped overboard and swam to a nearby island where I became king and ruler of the native population. I engaged in an ill-advised war against the neighboring island and my empire was wiped out. As a vanquished king, I lived in Paris for six years where I met my wife Saskia. We were wed in a little ceremony on top of Mt. Eiger in Switzerland.
After Saskia and I married, I became an astronaut in the Russian Space Program. That didn't last long!
Can't wait to see you all at the big reunion. I have a second job working at the Wynkoop serving hors d'oeuvres, so I'll be there! - please tip your server!
and now, my favorite poem:
I WANDER'D lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretch'd in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed -- and gazed -- but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
By William Wordsworth (1770-1850).
Put that in your pipe and smoke it! I memorized the whole thing, so if you want a reading at the reunion - just say so! I even developed an interpretive dance to go with it! My friend and yours, Joe Welch, usually plays the bongos as I flit and flutter about.
Update! Denver Public Schools blows (not South of course)! I had to kick them to the curb. I am now the main man at Vail Resorts. "Veni, Vidi, Shreddi" is my new motto. I still have my part-time job at the Wynkoop, so keep the tips flowin'.

"Just discovered your product today while trying to locate classmates ahead of our 50th reunion in 2020. The fact that you did this in a noncommercial manner in a world where everything has a price tag deserves recognition and respect, in my view.
Thank you and good luck in all your endeavors."
