Thanks for visiting my profile! It was a BLAST to see some of you at the 20 year reunion!!! Can't wait to see you again and see others that missed the reunion.
As for myself, I am doing great! The first ten years after high school graduation were rough...but my past ten years have been spectacular!
In the summer of 1996 I went to a beautiful, silver-mining town called Taxco in Mexico for a Spanish Language Program. That's where I met my soul mate, Seth. Then, we moved to Korea in 2000 for a year and a half to teach English and to experience life in my "home" country. I was also able to go to the World Cup Soccer Games in Korea to cheer on my home team all the way to to the quarter finals. What a dream come true!
We moved back to Denver for a short time, decided we could not take the cold weather anymore, and moved to Los Angeles in 2002. I got a teaching position with LAUSD (Los Angeles Unified School District).
Seth and I got married in 2002 and had our son, Max in 2005. Max is the JOY of our lives, but boy can he be a handful! (He takes after his dad, of course.)
I am a second grade teacher at South Park Elementary in South Central LA. Couldn't ask for a better job! The area is a little rough, but the students, staff, and community are wonderful! I love teaching and also love the fact that every year, I can convert 20 students into Broncos Fans right here in the middle of Raider Nation!!! (Yes, I am still a very devoted Broncos Fan. Can't you hear me SCREAMING every week from all the way out here?!)
