I finally got my compass pointed in the right direction after I left high school. School just never interested me until I got a little older. My career was in the automobile industry. I was a senior manager for Nissan moving all over the country for them. Simultaneously, I became a professional student and got degrees in all kinds of fields. I didn't marry until I was 49. It took that long to find the right one.
I acknowledge that I wasn't much of a student through all phases of public school. It just didn't interest me much. Oddly enough, I now tutor math at a local school for at risk girls. It is the most fulfilling thing I have ever done.
