Today's Featured Biography
Joanne Malone Sixeas
Miss all my friends back east, especially classmates I had so much fun (and getting into trouble with) in school. Patsy (Lowans)Clemmons, Peggy (McKenzie) Cline and Bonnie (Shade) Hilden. I really miss the whole east coast on the days the temp reaches 120 out here but, stll working and leading a fairly normal life out here for an old broad. Being the only non-native american at my job makes for some interesting days at work and the ferry ride to work every day crossing the lake (Colorado River) from AZ to CA is a cooler commute than than Rt 81 but does get hairy when temp is up and AC quits on the boat.
Have no living relatives back home any longer but still in touch with step-children, grandchildre and great grandchildren (thanks to at least one amicable divorce). Couldn't make it to the 50th due to some minor medical issues but looks like plenty of us made a good showing. Would come home to visit old friends more but still working puts a slight damper on that and anyhow, shouldn't they fly out here to visit. See some new territory with free accomodations in my flat-that is as long as they can tolerate one spoiled cat and one really spoiled dog.
