Today's Featured Biography
Rev. Matthew Smith
I am a graduate of Berean Theological Seminary. And have been an ordained minster for 10 years. I am ordained in the International Pentecostal Holiness Church, with headquarters in Oklahoma City, OK. And am currently the Senior Pastor of The Maranatha Pentecostal Holiness Church in historic Beaufort, NC. (One of the oldest established towns in the Southern Outer Banks of Eastern North Carolina.) Where I have been the Senior Pastor for 5 years. My family and I reside in Morehead City, NC, a tourist town located about 3 miles from the Atlantic Ocean. Before accepting my current position, I was the Senior Pastor of Covenant of Life Church in North Myrtle Beach, SC for about 4 years. So we've had the opportunity to live in two tourists towns, and in both North and South Carolina. And believe me when you're used to the weather in the Carolina's you won't go back to Chambersburg for the winter!
I am married to the world's most wonderful lady. And she is a "Lady" in every sense of the word! And we just celebrated 18 years of wedded bliss. (Yes, I married right out of High School, for those of you who thought I never would. I was one of the first, if not the first to tie the knot in our class. And haven't regretted it at all!) I also have two wonderful children. Shawna Nichole and Tyler Lee, who are the loves of my life! And of course I wouldn't be complete without our adorable pet schnauzer "Roxy Nichole (Diva) Smith" who is very spoiled, no thanks to me I'm sure!
So if you ever come to Morehead City or Beaufort, NC for vacation, look me up and attend one of our services. We'd love to have you. God Bless you all!
