Carole Reese Gaines
I currently serve as the Executive Secretary for the Chief of Staff at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center. Ralph, my husband of 35 years, is a retired U.S. Army Sergeant Major and continues to work with DOD as the Chief, Maintenance Division for the Directorate of Logistics at Fort Gordon, GA. Our oldest daughter Crystal (30) is an economics and political science teacher at Richmond County Technical Career Magnet School. She currently holds a M. Ed. and is working on her Specialist Degree. She and her husband Elliott are the proud parents of a son, Ayden. Our middle daughter, Gabrielle (28), is an accomplished photographer, artist, and marathon runner who graduated from Augusta State University with a degree in Sociology. She and her husband David are the proud parents of three rescue dogs and own the Book Tavern a local book store known for rare, new and used books. Our youngest daughter, Katarina (27) lives in Cincinnati, OH with her husband Nate. They both are graduates of the University of Cincinnati and spend their time traveling. Ralph and I enjoy exercising, photography, traveling in our RV on the weekends and spending time with our three dachshunds, Koltin, Rockford, and Ali.
