Today's Featured Biography
Sharon Dittenhafer Emig
Well, Tim (Emig)and I have had a very interesting life since High School First of all We graduated in 1983, and got married in August of that same year, and had our daughter Brooke in November of '83 also.
He entered the Marine Corp in Sept of the same year, and we have lived all over the country. We especially liked San Diego!! I enjoyed being a wife and mother those early years of our life together.
We have now settled back into York county. Our children only knew their relatives if they visited us on vacation, so we brought them home.
I commute to Towson every day to one of the top dental practices in the nation. We specialize in rebuilding mouths. Especially people that have had oral cancer. It is an amazing place to work and I am thankful for the people we help everyday! I love my job (prosthodontic dental assistant) and for the past two years, I have been going to night school (HACC) to be a dental hygienist. I apply for my clinicals in Febuary of 07. If I am accepted, I have to quit working and become a full time student in August. I waited a long time for this, and now that our children are 23 and 19 years old, I can finally get my degree and reach another one of my goals.
Our daughter is taking her time getting her degree in occupational therapy, and our son is in the Marine corp( like his dad and grandfather ) and is leaving for Iraq in January.
I hope to hear from my classmates soon. In between semester's and my daily commute I am usually at home..or walking our chocolate lab, Sable.
