Today's Featured Biography
Keith Roberts
After graduation I retired.
I came out of retirement in the Fall of that same year when I realized I had no money and a piece of crap car so I went back to school and got a degree as an Electrical Technician and believe it or not I was the top student in my class and was offered a great job in New Hampshire working on Electron Microscopes. After a few years of that I was offered a position with the same company to move back to York as a field service manager. I wasn't back here long when the company started having hard times and my position was eliminated.
I then decided to go back to school again (I love school, always have) and got another degree in drafting using AutoCAD.
While going to school I worked in retail in Lancaster and a guy came in and asked if our store employees would be interested in a bowling league. I was never in a league before and was looking for something to do so I signed up. The moment I walked through the door my eyes locked onto a beautiful young lady and I was hooked. It took me a couple months but finally got her out on a date by betting her she couldn't break 100 in a game (she really stank at bowling, it was a no brainer). She scored 97. We have been together ever since, married 11 years this past October, and have 2 awesome children. My daughter is just like her mother and my son is exactly like me, so much so it's scary.
I have been out of school for 8 years now and have worked my way up to a Project Manager position with Singer Equipment in Elverson Pa. I plan to retire again soon! Ha, I wish.
Thanks to 2 kids and 11 years of marriage I now shave my head to cover up the fact that I was losing all my hair.
I'd love to hear from any and all of you and look forward to the reunion coming up.
